Mariestads Segelklubb is a non-profit association working to spread sailing in the Mariestad area. We offer a vibrant club environment for the whole family.

Sailing for everyone

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor, there is a place for you with us.

Our harbour and clubhouse are beautifully located by Lake Vänern in Mariestad.

Our history

Mariestads Segelklubb was founded in 1914 and has since been a natural gathering place for everyone who loves sailing on Lake Vänern. Over the years the club has shaped generations of sailors, from young beginners in dinghies to seasoned racers. Today we are an active association with both recreational and competitive activities. We cherish our traditions while warmly welcoming new members and new ideas.

Unfortunately junior sailing is paused during 2026. We hope to start the activities again for the 2027 season.

Sail with us on Lake Vänern

As a member of Mariestads Segelklubb you become part of a lively sailing community — whether or not you own a boat, or simply want to get out on the water.

What's included in the membership

  • Access to the club's harbour and berths, subject to availability
  • Participate in weekly sailing, training sessions and regattas
  • Junior activities and sailing school for children and youth
  • Access to the clubhouse and shared facilities
  • Discounted rates when renting Kajutan and Skeberga
  • Community with other sailors of all ages

Membership fees

Avgiften gäller per person och år.

  • Barn 0–12 år50 kr / år
  • Ungdom 13–18 år100 kr / år
  • Vuxen 18+ år500 kr / år
  • Veteran (efter 50 år som medlem i klubben)100 kr / år

Träningsavgift / användning av klubbens båtar

För medlemmar som deltar i klubbens organiserade träningar och använder klubbens båtar och utrustning tillkommer en träningsavgift. Avgiften bidrar till att täcka kostnader för underhåll, service och löpande skötsel, så att vi kan hålla våra båtar och vår utrustning i gott skick.

Träningsavgift: 500 kr / år

Medlemsavgiften tillkommer.

    Mariestads Segelklubb behandlar medlemsansökan. När ansökan är behandlad får den betalningsansvarige information om hur medlemsavgiften betalas.

    Välkommen som medlem

    När medlemskapet är registrerat och medlemsavgiften är betald får medlemmen en bekräftelse och välkomstinformation från klubben.

Rentals

Rent our venues

We rent out Kajutan in the harbour and Skeberga on Torsö to members and external guests.

We have an active group sailing DragonForce — radio-controlled sailboats. Watch out for the Swedish Championship in DragonForce on 26–27 September.
